Entry point was not found in msvcrt.dll

I have an issue that i cant figure how to fix it.
I've downloaded the msvcrt.dll file , I cant put it in C:\\Windows\\System32 folder, It doesn't let me.
I cant use windows disc because the the cd-rom doesn't work either.
What can i do to fix the issue?

What operating system do you use?

The problem sounds a little bit like you're trying to extract the contents of the zip-file directly into the System32 folder, which you can't do in Windows 7 for example.
Please try to extract the DLL-file somewhere else first, and then copy the file into the System32 folder.

Thank you for a fast replay.
I'm using Windows xp-2002 3 service pack.
I moved the file to the desktop and then to the folder, But it's writing the same error.

I was told that the windows no longer could be repaired and a system reboot will fix it,
Unfortunately I cant reboot my system, Too many important files.(I would do it unless i have).
