RegCure?

I am getting error 0x80040201 when trying to Run 'regsvr32mmcndmgr,dll'.
Following the pc's suggestion to search the internet for a solution, I find
that RegCure offers it.
What other remedy is there?

Hi,

RegCure is more likely to completely hose your system, not fix it. Hopefully
you are not running the command as you have it written. It should be:

regsvr32 mmcndmgr.dll

Note that yours is missing the space in the middle, and had a comma before
the file extension instead of a period. As well, in Vista commands such as
this need to be run from an elevated command prompt regardless of account
privilege, please ensure you are doing so.

try a system Restore, I used a the registry booster and it made it
worse. I ended up using the Dell factory Image restore.

The comma was a misprint and the space an omission, IOW this is the way I
have it also. I don't need to fix my system, it is a leftover from the time
I did have trouble, but managed to get out of it quite easily in the end.
Just wanted to find out if this command was executable.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction to accomplish this.
If I remember correctly, the instructions were to 'Run' it, hence my futile
attempts, in all probability.
At any rate, luck is always good to have.

Beware of RegCure. They promised to fix my Vista update problem, took my
$30.-, did not fix the problem, and refuse to give me a refund or give
further support.

I had sent a reply before, but it was not posted.
Have no intention to use the program, only wanted to know about the run
command, which I 'butchered' a little, but no harm done.
By now I've found my way, thank you all.

Hi guys, seems you are having fun with my reply. Lol. May I just answer
John's question straight without any judgmental intentions, may be there
are enough of them on this thread. Just let John be the one to decide.

Why I have it in my systems? There are lot of thing in this world that
you and I like to try; such as vitamins which is known useless for the
others. I am sure none of you take them nor would I, but lots of people
do.

How about this, I just came back from replacing the struts on my Honda
Odyssey in the garage which took me 3 hrs. Well, I didn't see any
leakages on them nor any different between the new ones on the ride;
however, it has been a hundred thousand miles. I leave the new ones in
anyway. So, who knows.

Some time things has no definite answers.... you know what I mean.

Apparently, RegCure is said to be able to fix DLL errors. This software program scans the registry and gets rid of corrupted and unnecessary files. It keeps the computer free of irregularities that may cause errors. It also improves its performance and prevents annoying pop-up messages from showing up. With regard to DLL errors, RegCure can fix them to make the computer faster and more efficient.

There are programs like the RegCure application which load themselves as reliable applications and then makes it easy for other non-reliable files to infect the system. I had a similar applications which unknowingly was loaded on my system. But I was able to delete it from the control panel. So you may look for the RegCure application in the Control Panel. You may also uninstall it from the All Programs option in Start Menu by running its un-installer if present.
