Has anyone heard of this pepflashplayer.dll file?

Does anyone know what this type of flashplayer dll file is?
Where it comes from?
Who is operating it?

I have searched for it under every type of search I can think of and keep coming up blank. I found it via a notification via my Norton Utilities. Norton gives is a Thumbs UP OK... says it's been out for a month and is considered Mature. And Norton says 'thousands' in the Norton community use it. Their trust rating is Good.

OK .. if this is so mature, good and upstanding .. then why can't I find anything about it here on DLL-files or anywhere on the Net?

Any help will be much appreciated.

I just don't like to see UDLL's (Unidentified DLLS) running amok in the system.

Thanks
