PROGRAM WONT RECOGNIZE DLL FILES OR ACCEPT ANY NEW ONES

I'm trying to run a program that requires torrent but I'm not having the best luck.

Whenever I try to run the software within the torrent file, it says

"The program can't start because [insert dll file here] is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

However, the files are clearly there in the folder.

I even downloaded the files onto the computer and they currently appear on the desktop but they're still read as missing. I don't understand. Did I not follow through with any installation process or something? or are they supposed to be capitalized EXACTLY like the same?

Please help me.

Hello Steven,

Try placing the needed dll files in the same folder as the program requesting them.

Ex. C:\Program Fiels (x86)\"program name"\"dllfile".dll

Also try the suggested solution of re-installing the program you are trying to run.

I appreciate the time you took reading this and trying to help me out, but the solution isn't that simple.

You see, the dll files are apparently already in the folder and it won't let me add anything to the folder. I don't think I can manipulate it in any way at all.

Furthermore, I did re-install the program and the same issue occurred.
If it helps at all, I'm running this with a torrent client.

Do you have any other solutions?

Hi Steven,

I am unfamiliar with the running of torrent software myself, and as a general rule we don't give specific instruction in such cases as we cannot verify if your use of the torrent client is warranted or in breach of copyright laws (seeing as they can be used for both legitimate and illegitimate reasons).

However in general terms, from your original description it sounds as if you are trying to run a file from inside a torrent file, but from my understanding a torrent file is just a temporary placeholder on your system until the actual files contained in the torrent stream is all downloaded to your computer. At which point, if it's an executable program, you are supposed to initiate the program you downloaded from it's proper location, not the torrent file itself.
