I downloaded a 64 bit dll file for 64bit Windows7 and tried to install it via command prompt, but I get the following error:
The module "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll" failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. The specified module could not be found.
I also tried the other alternatives mentioned but was unable to install it.
How should I proceed?

This file is likely not built to be registered using regsvr32.
