I have a faulty schannel.dll file that is causing program failure, mainly email program. I have downloaded a copy of the said dll and in need of assistance to install it

To install a file using the DLL-Files.com Client, search for, and select the file you need.

Click "Install" to install recommended version to default folder, or switch to "Advanced view" to select version and install location.

If installing using default setting does not help, try "Advanced View" to install the dll file to the same folder where the program requesting it is located.

Thanks Erik for the reply. Unfortunately schannel.dll is a system file and will not let me change or replace it. I have managed, by doing a lot of internet searching, to gain control of the Windows\SysWOW64 file which contains the schannel.dll and replace it with a file from DLL-FILES.COM. This stopped part of the problem, but my system is now running very slow and I still cannot get email through my usual email program.
