Adobe Photoshop and dll's missing

Post by clack »

Hello everybody,
I have a problem with Adobe Photoshop.
Launching it, asks for 3 dll's
I solved for the first two, but have a problem with the third.
After placing VCRUNTIME 140_1.dll in the app directory, it gives the usual 0xc000007b error, that I learned usually appears when a 32 bit dll is placed ina 64 bit system.
My system is 64 bit and in the library that dll is available only in 64 bit version.
I tried also to put it in the Windows library obtaining the same error.
So, what to do now?
Thank you for any help. :)

The 0xc000007b error often results from a compatibility issue between 32-bit and 64-bit DLL files. To resolve it, try reinstalling both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the Visual C++ Redistributables from the official Microsoft website, as this can help fix missing or conflicting DLL issues. Make sure to use the correct version of VCRUNTIME140_1.dll—for a 64-bit system, use the 64-bit DLL—and place it in the C:\Windows\System32 folder, which is standard for 64-bit files. Avoid having multiple versions of the same DLL across folders. Finally, check for updates for both Windows and Photoshop, as software updates sometimes resolve such compatibility issues. Let me know if this resolves your issue!
