ntdll.dll and user rights, access violation

Post by jodleren »

Hi all

We use www.adavntech.com motion cards, which we access through their
ads1240.dll file. They somehow use ntdll.dll, which gives an access
violation of writing address 10 (not 0).

This happens only for a plain user, until now the user (of the
machine) has always been an admin, and there is no problem.
However, the plain user cannot access the hardware.

Any ideas?
We have granted all possiblem rights to c:\windows\, our software and
the adcabtech catalog under program files.

What elso could be needed?
