problem with dll in audacity.

I'm a total noob when it comes down to coding, I really want to learn though...

However that's not what this post is about, I'm having issues getting a plug-in to work for Audacity... I put the VST plugin in the VST plugin folder... and after much frustration I've still not been able to find it in the "Effects tab" (assuming whoever is reading this knows what that is).

I noticed that a few files in the containing folder were ".dll". I have as much knowledge on program files as a 4 year old does on deep space enterprise, so I've decided to look for some help... if anyone is patient enough to respond and help me with this issue I would be super appreciative.

Nevermind... it was in a different tab... although the plugin isn't working anyway...
