Play Blu-ray in Windows 8 Media Center

I have really tried to solve this, but no success.
I backup the BuRay to my hard drive
Windows Media center sees the copy on my hard  drive
When I press play in Windows 8 Media Center
ERROR    ---- CANNOT PLAY DISC – You must install a playback application that supports BluRay Disc
Help me to resolve this.

Hello Doreen,

It seems Windows 8 Media Center does not support playback of BluRay media.
To play BluRay on your computer you will need another program.
I reccomend using VLC media player, which is free.
