I've bought the licence of your program because my dinput8.dll is corrupt. My games, for example Fifa, don't works. My system is windows 10 home on 64bit and i'm activated right admin. When i try to copy the dll with your programm, i get the message, that I don't have permission to replace this file.
No virus is on the system, i've checked. Games were deinstalled and new installed, i've installed also the newst drivers of the grafic card.
I know that the dll is in the system32-folder, but it must be possible, to change .. for what is your program, if it don't changes system-dlls?

Even if using a 64bit Windows system, many programs are still 32bit.
32bit programs needs 32bit dll files, which are not placed in C:\Windows\System32\, but in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\

If your games are 64bit, you are correct in using a 64bit dinput8.dll in \System32\ .

If the file is in use by another program, you will not be able to overwrite it.

You might need to take ownership of the file or the folder;

dinput8.dll is a DirectX component.

If nothing else helps, try re-installing or updating your DirectX installs;
