Hello,
I have message showing that program can't open because .DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling to fix this problem.
I am using Windows 10. I tried to few different things including rebooting my computer. Unfortunately, it won't even let me reboot. I get some error message.
Not sure how to fix this. It does not even let run any downloaded program to install. I only get above message when I try to run/install/uninstall any program including security virus ( Norton). I also try to use free demo on this site but it got downloaded but unable to run with the same message. So not sure if someone may help to resolve this or not since it only says .DLL missing from you computer. It does not specify particular DLL file. Hoping to get this resolved soon.
Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you.
D

Re: .DLL missing from you computer
Hello D,
Sounds like quite the predicament. I'm afraid that if there is an error message that does not specify which DLL file is missing, only that some DLL file is missing, it will be very hard to locate the root of the program. If, at the same time, you are not able to run any program, or install any new program, this indicates a deeper issue on your PC. Especially if you''re not able to even reboot. Sounds very strange.
I would hazard a guess either at a pretty nefarious virus infection causing havoc everywhere, or potentially a corrupted Windows installation.
In your case, I would try to reinstall Windows from scratch and hope to get a working version up and running. Luckily it is much easier to reinstall Windows 10 than previous versions. You can get it from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/softwar ... /windows10
Hopefully that helps, good luck!
Regards
Daniel
