I read through the how-to and when I extracted the file, it saved it in downloads. Is that the common place for saving the DLL file? Also, once it was downloaded, I continued to receive the message:

"The program can't start because api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-l1-2-1.dll is missing from your computer. Try installing the program to fix this problem."

I am trying to download the McAfee Protection on my computer. And cannot complete the process without the DLL file.
