Question about .Dll Files

Hi, I'm currently trying to change or edit a .dll File.

I don't know much about how i can do so.

I was told, that i can use .NET Reflector? or even JetBrains dotPeek.

Could someone point me into the right direction?

I don't know how to write a .dll file, but i'd like to edit one that's already been created and SAVE it like that.
