Missing DLL Error When Launching App — Tried Fixes, Still Not Working

Hey everyone,
I'm having a really frustrating issue with a missing DLL file. Every time I try to launch [insert app/game name], I get this error:
"The program can't start because VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing from your computer."
I already tried the following:
Downloaded the VCRUNTIME140.dll from dll-files.com and placed it in the app folder and C:\Windows\System32
Ran sfc /scannow — no issues found
Reinstalled the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (both x86 and x64)
Still no luck. The same error pops up every time. Has anyone experienced something similar? Could this be related to a Windows update or maybe another missing dependency?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
