Need a different api-ms-win-core-winrt-l1-1-0.dll File

I am fighting with an old Win 7 Ultimate PC Service Pack 1. I am trying to get the latest version of Adobe Reader working again. Somehow the api-ms-win-core-winrt-l1-1-0.dll file disappeared so it gripes when started. I found this website and downloaded the 64 bit version of this file; did a MD5 and SHA1 check on the download and it matched.

Reader found it but threw a 0xc000007b error. I see that the date on the 64 bit file I dnl'd was 8/11/2016 while most of the similar files in the SysWOW64 directory were either 4/12/2019 or 1/2/2020.

I then tried to download one of the 32 bit versions but your system would not give me the file! It put me to some Eutil.dll or such. Tried the other 32 bit file but could not get it either. I saw some text about keeping other systems from dnlding files but I have only tried for three. How can I get the other files, and is there a way to know what dates they are?

We have now updated our website with 2 new versions. One 32bit and on 64bit. Both in version 10.0.9904.0
Try them and see if it solves your problem!

(due to caching, it may take up to 12 hours before they are visible on the website. Try changing to another language if the new version isn't visible for you)
