hi everyone,
Wasn't sure where to post this so i'll give it a shot here.
Lately my pc has been acting up; random BSOD (memory management error
which hasnt happened ever since I scanned my system) and appcrash errors
(which happen regularly and always on startup.
I ran both a virus scan and a spyware scan and it came up, surprisingly
with a few threats, cleaned them but now i'm getting the following
error.

It's not just the User profile that crashes, sometimes it's some other
random Vista Feature which I cannot remember.
I've tried turning off DEP but i am not sure which programs I should be
running with DEP off.
I'm running Vista Ultimate 32bit, 4gb ram, 3.2ghz duo core.
Any assistance/info would be much appreciated. Thank you

The repdrvfs.dll is part of Vista. Because of the random nature of your
crashes, I would start by testing the RAM.
You can test the memory yourself. I believe that Vista has a memory tester,
but I like Memtest86+ from www.memtest.org. Obviously, you have to get the
program from a working machine. You will download the .iso to make a
bootable cd. Burn the file with third-party burning software - as an image,
not as data. Then boot with the media you made (you may need to change the
boot priority in your BIOS so that the optical drive is the first boot
device). The test will run immediately. Let the test run for an hour or two
- unless errors are seen immediately. If you get any errors, replace the
RAM. I buy all my RAM from Crucial.com, but of course you don't need to. I
just mention them because they are excellent and sell quality RAM. You
don't want to skimp and buy bargain RAM.
