Hello....I am receiving a dll error indicating 'zufefomu.dll' whenever I boot
up my system. Do any of you know of any tools to clean the registry? I do a
search for 'zufefomu.dll' and find no results.
Any help will be great!
Thanks,

The full error message would be a nice start.

Re: RunDLL error and how to clean up registry
Hi MJ,
First, you don't need a registry cleaner. In fact, that's the last thing you
need.
What have (had, actually), is an infected file that your antivirus software
removed. Problem is, it wasn't able to remove the entry in the startup axis
that loaded it when the machine was started. These are not necessarily in
the registry, but rather can eminate from many different parts of the
system.
The simplest solutions would be to download and run autoruns from the link
below, then use it to locate the entry used for zufefomu.dll and remove it.
Autoruns: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysi ... 63902.aspx

That doesn't follow, at all. Why does one error message make you think
cleaning the registry would have any affect, much less be a good idea?
What is the *exact* text of the error message?

Do a search where, precisely? And using what specific search criteria?

This is the full error message:
RunDLL

Error loading C:\Windows\system32\zufefomu.dll
The specified module could not be found.
---------------------------
I tried to look for resolutions and there were websites that indicated to do
a registry cleanup. This is why I posted to get other opinions and help.
Thank you!
