Hey everyone. I was wondering if someone could help me out with this. I
get the message in the title right at start-up, and therefore, no icons,
no start menu, no taskbar, nothing. Stuff still runs if I use the task
manager, but that's a little inconvenient, obviously. These are the
details:

AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2096 ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2096 Offset: 0001ddf1


I googled kernel32, and realize that's the problem...I's be really
grateful if you could help me get rid of it?

I doubt kernel32.dll is the problem. The problem lies with whatever is
using explorer.exe. This can be difficult to ascertain.

A complete Event Viewer Error report could help.

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event
Viewer.Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from
Event Viewer.

Those versions of explorer.exe and kernel32.dll are strange. Are you
running an Internet Explorer 7 Beta?
