Re: dll error messages after loading Norton Internet Securit
Did the previous antivirus' subscription expire or are you installing
NIS to remove an infection ?
Suggest you have the files listed scanned here:
http://www.virustotal.com/
The .dat files yield no hits on google and the protect.dll may be
malware-related.

Re: dll error messages after loading Norton Internet Securit
Yes, my previous norton expired and I downloaded spyware doctor. Somehow
spyware doctor did not catch the infection and I have been having the
tojon.vrundo problem ever since. They tried to help me for several week but
to no avail. Therefore, I loaded a newer version of norton. Now I am
receiving the dll errors. (Ghezz).
Let me know. Thanks,

Re: dll error messages after loading Norton Internet Securit
Uninstall Norton NIS using the 'Add/Remove' programs
in the Control Panel.
Next download and run the following removal tool:
http://service1.symantec.com/Support/ts ... 3108162039
Then re-install NIS, do not skip the pre-install scan!

Re: dll error messages after loading Norton Internet Securit
Your computer's still infected and you won't be able to install NIS 2009 or
any other security application until you get this resolved.
Since you allowed your previous Norton subscription to expire...
Backup your personal data, then do a format & clean install of Windows.
Please note that a Repair Install (AKA in-place upgrade) will NOT fix this!
After the clean install, you'll have the equivalent of a "new computer" so
take care of everything on the following page before otherwise connecting
the machine to the internet or a network and before using a USB key that
isn't brand-new or hasn't been freshly formatted:
