lsass.exe - bad image

Post by brett »

I get an error that reads "the application or dll
C:/windows/system32/lsasrv.dll is not a valid windows image"
I have reloaded Windows XP home addition and tried Reinstalling it
also tried repairing it from installation disk, works for a while, then
error appears, cannot log onto computer after error appears. Please help!
Thanks.

Hi,
This indicate either a viral infection or a corruption on your system.
If I extract the right info from your post, you tried to repair your XP
installation but you still have the problem. Is that right?
Use either Last good known configuration to start Windows and try a scan
from an online scanner like Trendmicro or Norton..etc
Or Try a live CD from the links below to scan the system on
start up.
