dll files

I accidentally opened shell32.dll with windows photo gallery and then it saved it as the default application to open it. Now i have noticed all my dll files have changed to the windows photo gallery icon. I noticed on my other comp which has vista aswell, the shell32.dll file opens with an unknown application, so Will this change matter? and How can i change it back?
