Hi,
I am having a problem after rebooting my XP system. It boots normally until I get to the main screen and then it seems to get stuck for 18-20 minutes until I get this message:
"Message Queuing Service has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Once I get this pop-up everything seems to run normally. It seems to be running in a loop, possibly searching, and appears to time out.
I should also mention that the kids had some major malware on it that have recently been cleaned out but this same delay was present before starting the removal process.
I have also gotten the message after the delay:
"error loading c windows system32 mwmddsrv.dll"
I was wondering if these 2 messages are interrelated and the cause of the delay? Could this be caused by a missing or corrupt mwmddsrv.dll, whatever this is?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Problem with mwmddsrv.dll?
