I changed the original one to NPSWF32.old, then moved the new one
into the folder. You know... just in case.

I only had 9.0.260.0, but nothing seems to be complaining yet.

Can ie 6. be used with Flash 10 and KernelEx, or do ya need ie 7 ?

I just wondered if there was something that you could help me with
regarding the modified driver to get the street view to work on
Windows 98 S.E

Are you able to go through a complete list of what I may have done
wrong as the street view does not work on my system any longer, well
it did for a while, now it doesn't.

I have as someone on the MSFN forum suggested was to modify some
registry entries then replace the driver, but even though Adobe flash
is reported as 10,0,45,2 when I enter an address on google and the
street view appears when I click on the picture or the street view
wording I either get a message telling me I need to have version 10 of
the Adobe flash player, or if I double click on the image all I get is
a large black screen with nothing in it.

I have done exactly as you said on the google group page that had the
link to the modified driver.

Hope you can help me, perhaps I need to start all over again.

There was a reason that I really can't remember why I removed the
KernelEx from my computer, it caused something not to work that I
really needed if I remember correctly, so I would prefer a fix without
installing it again if that is indeed possible of course.

Why do you think it doesn't work now though? you think that google
have caught on about it perhaps?

I amended a registry entry description for the flash player to say 10
instead of 9, was that ok to do that?

I ask as only 2 instances were reported to require to be changed, but
this was a third instance of version 9.0.277.0 showing under the term
description in the registry.
