Android phone is detected as MTP device , but windows explorer doesn't show the device

I have windows 7 ., service pack 1 Laptop . When I connect samsung android phone , it is detected as MTP device & shown in devices & printers page . However windows explorer doesnot show the device & its file system . The same phone works with another laptop having the same drivers . I cross checked the versions of all driver dlls /sys files.

Any help appreciated.
