FSX AS16 and simconnect problems

Hi all. I installed AS16 on my FSX and never connects because something is wrong with the simconnect and I think it may be the dll file. I read on this forum that the simconnect on a system 64 should have the simconnect.dll in the system 32 folder or the wow64 something folder and checked and it is not in any of them. Could that be the issue. Running on Windows 11. Thanks
