ms.net framework error dialog box appearing

Post by wat? »

Perhaps someone can lead me in the correct direction:
http://img97.imageshack.us/i/dotneterror.png/
has started to pop up occasionally, cant say for sure but it seems to be
happening while browsing the web.
What is it and how can it be fixed?
XP pro SP3
I uninstalled the .net framework and reinstalled it.
no errors for several days, and then the same dialog box popped up again.

Any ideas on what may be happening?
Thanks

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

CODE

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

Hi

Try removing "Explorer 8 Improved Compatiblity" (KB975364) Update.

My system: XP Pro SP3 all .net frameworks and updates installed.
Update removed with "Your Uninstaller! 2008".

For me it works for a few hours until now, let us know if fixes the
problem.

Cheers

Seems to have resolved itself on its own...
No sure how or why, but haven't seen the error in several weeks.
Thanks for the lead though
