Welcome Screen

Post by martin »

I have windows xp home with the blue welcome screen and I bought a wireless
usb adapter the other week and I installed it on my pc. After I installed it,
i restarted my pc, when my pc was back on, I noticed that i have the windows
xp pro welcome screen.

i have tried to change the welcome screen back to its normal one but i get
an error message: A recently installed program has disbaled the welcome
screen and Fast User Switching. To restore these features, you must uninstall
the program. The following file name might help you identify the program that
made the change: athgina.dll.

I have search the internet about this file and it is telling me that i need
to go into the registery to edit the file but i don't want to damage my pc.

Regards

Uninstall the wireless app.
Change the screen back to the welcome.
Install the wireless app custom - paying attention and understanding what
you install.
